Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 AMD Ryzen 7 4700U 14 "


This laptop is a little (Rs. 800) over budget but I couldn't help mentioning it because Lenovo has placed all their cards on this one. A freaking AMD Ryzen 7 4700u with all the bells and whistles while being incredibly light at just 1.39 kilograms. Storage wise we are looking at 8 gb of ram and 512Gb of SSD.


Sporting a full hd IPS antiglare display with decent colors and just being 17.9mm thick, this laptops screams light weight. In terms of security, Lenovo has put in a fingerprint sensor and privacy shutter in addition to features like Backlit keyboard , Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and 2x2 watt dolby supported speakers. The battery is rated to last about 12 hours and has support for fast charging to help you juice up in a jiffy. If you can spend an extra 2000, you could get a newer generation Amd Ryzen 7 5700 model with much better performance.

Acer Aspire 3 core i5 11th gen 15.6"


For those who aren't willing to shell out their hard earned money and would only need a normal i5 laptop with plenty of storage, Acer has released the Acer Aspire 3 starting from 50k. Not so light weight at 1.7 kgs ,the aspire 3 is no slouch. It packs a full hd IPS panel with decent colors and in a well built body.


For storage, there's plenty to go around as it has a 1 tb HDD along with 256 gb of ssd for all of your media, work files, and more. Battery is rated at 9 hours which can help you pull through your day with moderate use. In case of ports Acer has got you covered in a nice selection of three USB ports, including two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and one USB 2.0. The only downside being that the keyboard is not backlit but it will not be a deal breaking absence for most people.

Dell Vostro 3400 14"


The Dell Vostro 3400 is for brand conscious people who don't mind shelling extra money for good support and service. The laptop is powered by the latest 11th generation i5 processor and is equipped with 8 gigs of ram.


There's a 512 ssd on board with 2gb of Nvdia MX330 graphics card means you can play casual games on it without breaking a sweat. In addition to a full hd 14 inch Antiglare LED display, the keyboard is backlit as well. It comes preloaded with Windows 10 home and Office 2019 and has a bunch of I/O ports like 2x USB 3.2 Gen-1, USB 2.0, HDMI port, Ethernet port, Headset jack and an SD Media Card Reader.
